Programs & Activities
Athletics
Seasonal sports are available after school for boys and girls. Tryouts will be held for the competitive team in each sport, depending on the number of interested participants and the availability of coaches. Each season, a sports agreement contract signed by both student and guardian, as well as payment is required at the time of registration.
Students must be in good academic standing to participate in Franklin Junior High Athletics.

Clubs
Franklin Junior students have a variety of clubs available to them. Extracurricular activities help children develop qualities such as leadership, team play, and cooperation, as well as provide safe, supervised activities after school hours. Clubs and service organizations are a way to provide students with additional contact between staff and other students in a more relaxed environment.
Students must be in good academic standing to participate in Franklin Junior High clubs. It is highly encouraged for students to seek out opportunities to participate in activities they are interested in.

Help Sessions
Help sessions are offered after school to support students in need of additional help. The help session schedule and procedures vary from teacher to teacher. A late bus will be offered to all students who stay for after-school help sessions.
Performing Arts
Franklin Junior High Band, Orchestra, and Choir perform in multiple concerts and assemblies throughout the year; sometimes traveling to different venues.
Our Franklin Junior High Drama class designs sets, costumes, and performs for the student body and families at the end of each semester.

Library
